What on Earth is Boudoir?

It’s a glamorous style of photography that can be suggestive and sexy. The level of sexy is up to you, I consider it a collaboration and work with you to create the images you’re looking for! We can do more of a cozy & cute vibe or we can heat things up with sexy posing - it’s really up to you!

The idea of a boudoir shoot might seem daunting - “What if I don’t know what to do or how to pose?” I’ve got your back - you don’t have to think about a thing during the shoot, we talk about your vision and comfort level all before we start. I will pose and guide you the whole way through!

BEFORE

Before your session, I will send over a pile of prep emails including an outfit guide and questionnaire for you to describe your comfort level and exactly what you are looking for out of the shoot.

We can discuss all possibilities in advance so you can get the most out of your session!

DURING

Your session will start with professional hair and makeup with the hilarious and Down-to-Earth Karly who will work with you to create the look you’re going for and make sure you look like you!

We’ll lay out all the outfits you brought and grab any you want to try from my client closet. Then the shoot will begin with me posing you every step of the way and showing off all your favourite features!

AFTER

After your shoot, you can hang out in the studio for about an hour and a half (or duck out for a late lunch and come back), most clients just hang out here - I have snacks, etc available. During that time I’ll put a light edit on your photos and you get to see them the same day!

You will choose your favourite photos and make your purchasing decisions viewing all the possibilities for showcasing your beautiful self!

Following your appointment, I will fully retouch your chosen images as you wish. Plan for albums and wall art to take 4-6 weeks to deliver.

I am a full time photographer specializing in boudoir & elopements. It’s my passion and privilege to be able to capture the love between couples and the true beauty of my clients with an empowering boudoir session.

Feel awkward in front of a camera on a good day? (Who doesn’t?!) fear-not, I have your back. You will be guided every step of the way - whether boudoir or elopement - I am committed to creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere that allows you to open up and for your true personality and connection to shine through.

More about me? My favourite part of everyday is snuggling up with my new baby girl, Olivia, my husband and our sweet pets. We live on the west end of Edmonton, where you can find me chugging coffee and editing up a storm.
